We are excited to announce our new full-time Speech Language Pathologist, Sirena LaShay Moore, SLP. She serves at Field Memorial Hospital.
Sirena received her bachelor’s degree in English/French Literature from The University of the District of Columbia. She received her master’s degree in business administration and Speech Language Pathology from The University of Memphis. In addition, Sirena is a McNair and Thurgood Marshall Scholar. Within her field of study, she is especially interested in helping those with conditions associated with Cerebral Palsy, Aphasia, Dysphagia, Dysarthria, and CVA.
Sirena is a published author. She has penned works from critical essays to two children’s books about autism spectrum disorder and Primary Progressive Aphasia.
Sirena is a foodie. She loves to cook, travel, and read classic literature, but her most enjoyable activity is reading about unknown places and visiting them worldwide.
We are delighted to have Sirena as a partner. We know she is ready to take on the speech therapy needs of the community, and we look forward to seeing her patients’ recovery journeys at Field Memorial Hospital.
