We are delighted to announce the hiring of our new, full-time Occupational Therapist, Frotasha Buxton, OT. She serves at Magee General Hospital.
Frotasha received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from The University of Southern Mississippi. She was awarded her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Alabama State University. In addition, she has a minor degree in Psychology. We know Frotasha is ready to take on the occupational therapy needs of the community, and we look forward to seeing her patient’s recovery journeys.
When she is not treating patients, Fortasha is a floral designer. She owns and operates Frotastic Floral Creations, LLC - a floral design business created in 2022. She serves as a choir member, youth leader, and teacher at New Covenant Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, MS.
We are excited about the many opportunities Frotasha will have to grow and advance in her new role. We know she will be instrumental in improving patients’ lives at Magee General Hospital.
