We are thrilled to announce Chris Butler, DPT, our new, full-time Director of Rehab at 360 Total Rehab in Flowood. Because of your referrals and recommendations, we wanted to share with you the good news of this incredible new opportunity for you. We want you to feel confident in referring your patients to us, and that confidence starts with knowing who will lead your patients in their recoveries.
Chris graduated from Coahoma Agricultural High School in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and later received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Chris also received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UMMC. During and after his education, Chris worked in a variety of health care settings including swing bed, nursing home, acute care, outpatient, and home health.
Taking on the role as Director of Rehab for Chris is a welcome challenge. He has served as a Director of Rehab in the past, and he appreciates the balance of providing therapy services and managing other therapists. He plans to use his experience as a therapist and leader to motivate patients and his therapy staff to achieve new heights.
Personally, Chris enjoys seeing the recovery journey, walking alongside patients as they achieve new outcomes and truly make a change for themselves. He is often inspired by his patients, but often student athletes make an impression on him for their determination and positivity. Chris is currently undergoing training to become certified in Functional Dry Needling by the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. He also plans to become certified to conduct work screens through Work Well Functional Capacity Evaluations and Work Screens in the next few weeks. Chris and his wife, who is also a physical therapist, live in Brandon.
